Came by Sperry's for some appetizers. The food overall was very good. Really enjoyed the lamb chops and shoe string fries the jumbo shrimp cocktail was a hit. I can appreciate the extra dollop of horseradish in the middle of the cocktail sauce to give an extra burst of pop if you choose to. The bbq shrimp and grits were a hit also. The service was excellent and ambiance is low key.
Sperry's continues to excel for lunch with excellent service at the full bar, and excellent appetizers including the Smoked Salmon and the Crab Cake Salad, both are excellent, and big enough to be entrees. Follow this with a Brandy Alexander. The wood paneled steakhouse interior is very quiet at lunch.
Every part of our experience at Sperry's was outstanding. Our waitress, (Sweetah?) could not have been better. She was knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. Our orders were filled without delay and the food was delicious. Our waitress was available and checked on us a number of times. We would highly recommend Sperry's.
We have been here a few times and love to return. Only reason we don't is that it's a 40 minute drive. As usual the service was excellent and the meal was even better. Alfonzo is an excellent server and made good recommendations. My wife took him up on the daily special bone in rib with whipped garlic mashed potatoes with a blue cheese sauce. We had the escargot for an appetizer well I should say I had it. Largest snails I've had in that dish and were prepared perfectly. I had the NY Strip and it was close to fork tender not something you find in a strip and I had a side of the mango sausage stuffed mushrooms which you just need to try. We Live coming here because even though it's a steakhouse you can still be casual and get the service and food of the places that you need to dress up for. Keep up the good work!!!
We dined here for a client lunch & it was good. Service was decent. Menu had lots of options but I went with the chicken sandwich. Chicken was seasoned very well. Nice restaurant to have a lunch meeting or just catchup with friends.
Fantastic experience all around; we will absolutely be back for the next event. Loved the cozy tavern ambience. Our servers were super attentive. The salad bar was great, the steaks were cooked perfectly, and the sticky toffee pudding was S-tier
My first time at Sperry's and I will be back! I really enjoyed the personable servers who were very attentive to our needs. We were celebrating a birthday and they made it one to remember. I had the crab bisque soup, salmon Florentine (Oscar style) with garlic whipped potatoes. We also enjoyed the espresso brownie (didn't taste like coffee which I appreciated)
I would have sworn that I had previously reviewed Sperry's but since I don't see it I thought I would give them some love. And I do mean LOVE! One of the prime steakhouses in Nashville used to be our go to for a nice dinner or special event, but over the last couple of years Sperry's has definitely taken that spot. The service is excellent. Relaxed, friendly and perfectly attentive. The food has always been spot on. We especially love the salad bar and the decor is a nice blend of up scale and rustic. I almost always get an email from management thanking us for coming in AGAIN. Kind of a special little touch. If i haven't said love enough, LOVE!
They still got it - they always do! Stopped by for HH and this place is consistently good! We had the Salmon Toast which is always awesome! Their Martini is always on point. Love their blue cheese olives with a slightly dirty martini! Plus sitting at the bar is always fun. Charlotte, the bartender was fantastic! We have had her before in Feb dining room and she always has great recs and awesome server/bartender!
